Glossary : Light Boxes

Traditionally used by photographers, light boxes have been adopted by the displays industry as an eye catching and effective display solution. Light boxes work by printing onto special backlit film and then sandwiching the print between a diffuser panel and a clear acrylic protective sheet. The sandwich is then slotted into a framed box and conventional fluorescent lights are placed behind the print. The result is a cost effective and versatile attention grabbing display.
